Biography
Dr Hugh Osborn is an astronomer working on exoplanet detection & characterisation, principally using space-based photometry of transiting planets. His work, which includes a PhD from the University of Warwick and PostDocs in Marseille, MIT, Bern and ETH Zurich, has explored using new applications of Bayesian & machine learning to find more exoplanets at higher precision and longer periods than classically possible.
