Biography
Andrew Valentine is currently based at Durham University in the UK, and was previously a Fellow in Seismology and Mathematical Geophysics at the Australian National University. His research focusses on the mathematics of inference and inversion, and on developing connections with data science and machine learning. This work spans the spectrum of geophysics, but he has a particular interest in global and long-period seismology.
